Although warming up the hot tub and sauna takes a while, it's a nice start for a relaxing evening. The facilities are high quality and well organized: there's enough fridge space, an open fire to cook on and small kitchen so that you don't miss restaurants or catering; luckily the host reminded us to bring our own groceries before leaving Helsinki!

First of all: friendly, helpful and positive people working in the hotel. Proximity to the beautiful lake, big park / forest with trails, comfortable bed, outstanding food... just cannot wait to return there. You can walk or rent the bike there. It is extremely quiet place, but not far from Helsinki, just half an hour drive from the center.

Our dream night in Finland! The house is very cozy and accessible via local transportation or car. Poppii was very welcoming and prepared for us an AMAZING salmon soup that we'll never forget. The cottage is very clean and feels very new. The fireplace is very warm and safe and easy to use. The sauna is perfect, and the ability to go sit by your own personal pier with a coffee ( or swim in the cold cold lake) is just splendid. The lake is beautiful. A real slice of paradise that we won't forget — thank you Poppii !
