Really cosy hut, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. It's really quiet around there, so perfect to relax. There's snowshoes in the hut, totally recommend to use these! Nice view at the night sky from the bed, although we didn't see any northern lights due to the clouds.

I actually took my parents to Kakslauttanen 7 years ago and wasn't sure how it would look after all that time. Needless to say, it's even better than I remembered! I was with my Wife and our 2 friends this time round and we had the most magical time ever, it's just such a wonderful experience. The Planetarium is now finished and was epic! The northern lights were amazing and the lodges have now been equipped with an alarm that can sound to alert you of a potential NL sighting. The fact the resort is literally in the middle of a forest is just so perfect and the snow is about as fairytale'esque as you can imagine. We did quite a lot of the activities and had a blast. The cross country skiing was hilarious and our faces ached with all the laughter. (mostly at our falling over!) A super special thank you and 11/10 for Sparkle the Elf! This woman was magnificent and guided us on our tour to meet Santa and the celebration house. We had such a good time and were really so thankful. We loved the food and really couldn't fault anything!

Our family of five just returned from staying here and we would certainly go back again. Everything was great. The hostess was very responsive with the questions I had before we left. The host picked us up at the airport and took us to the cabin. He took the time to talk us through everything about the surrounding area and discuss the activities we had scheduled in the coming days. They made sure we had a great stay. We owe our great vacation to their personal service! The cabin was also wonderful- it had everything we needed, was clean and warm and cozy. I can't say enough good things about this place and the host and hostess. The accommodation alone was worth a great rating and if you want a personal experience and like meeting local people- this is would be an amazing choice.

Perfect stay in AQ! People are so friendly and kind! Food in AQ restaurants is awesome too! I especially like the breakfast buffet. We absolutely loved our stay in the Aurora Cabin. Food was incredible. I can honestly say it's the best food I've ever experienced on holiday. Everything was so fresh and it was a proper home cooked meal. I couldn't compliment the chefs enough. The excursions were so well organised, the staff were brilliant and very knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend the winter clothing. Such good value for money and zero hassle! I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to visit again in the future.
