The location is great, it’s calm and perfect for hikes and bike tours in the hills. We had a cosy room overlooking the charming garden and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day. Our hosts Elisa and Guillaume went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They provided useful tips on scenic biking routes. We liked a place so much that we stayed 4 nights instead of the originally planned two. Thank you Guillaume and Elisa for helping us have a magical couple of days at your place.

Facilities, staff, cleanliness. The house was tastefully decorated. And the owners were very hospitable and amiable. Breakfast was delicious - toast, butter, cheese, jams, honey, apple juice with no added sugar (all locally produced) and homemade yogurt by inner of the sisters.

Very nice guy. He shows you everything. Albergue is very nicely build for the pilgrims. You even have a living room there for the pilgrims with some desk games.

After 14 hour walk in hot sun from SJ to Roncesvalles I was glad to walk only short distance and stay in this hostal next day. Bunk beds are in spacious rooms with it’s own bathroom. Hostal is well run and has friendly vibes. Bar/restaurant downstairs serves delicious food and drinks all day long. Espinal town itself had a nice store selling delicious fruit and park nearby to stop and rest and enjoy the fruit. Great Camino stop.

This is a stunningly renovated tower that feels remote, peaceful and instantly relaxing. Jon and Iban, our hosts, were incredibly attentive, and provided truly excellent customer service - they made us feel like old friends. The food served for breakfast and dinner was of a very high standard, and we loved the locally sourced products and beverages served in the restaurant. Jon and Iban shared their pride in the local area, and we felt sad to leave.
