We (9 Belgian 60+) stayed for 5 nights in Casa Tajinaste. Catalina is a very kind and helpful host, Vilaflor is a quite place in the centre of Tenerife, not too much affected by tourism, excellent to visit the rest of the island, and it has some good restaurants in the neighbourhood. And the house itself is great, it combines modern luxury with medieval style. Each of the 6 double rooms has its own bathroom. Thus: absolutely recommended (unless you prefer Playa de Americas, Ibiza, etc.).

Location was helpful for us as we were walking the GR131 route. Also the staff were great as we wanted to leave very early and would miss the breakfast so they made us a packed breakfast/lunch late that night. Very kind!

The house is on around 1000 m of altitude and the view is fantastic, but it would be much easier to live nearer the highway (it is half an hour to get to the highway for an everyday trip with a car...)

The location was very convenient being a short drive to both the airport and the Teide National Park, with free parking on the street outside.
We didn't notice the emailed instruction to pre-book for the evening meal before 5pm on the day until after the cut-off had passed but our late request was very kindly granted and we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner.
The breakfast was also excellent.
The staff were friendly and helpful. On-street parking available across the road. Room was warm and clean and had a lovely valley view. The food was not fussy and plentiful and excellent value with regional specialities. The dining room/museum had interesting historic artifacts. There was live music on the Saturday night we were there, which was very good.
The accommodation is in a quiet location. There is free parking about 500 meters at the top of the village. Check-in was uncomplicated. Receive all instructions from Elena for entering the house and room via chat. Gloria and Elena lovingly looked after my well-being. I will gladly come again. I can recommend the Dulcería Hermano Pedro for breakfast.
