Nice clean hotel, very large family room, friendly staff. Close enough to the motorway for convenience but not close enough to hear it from the room. Ideal overnight stop to catch the ferry at Santander

After a very long car drive we arrived later than we expected due to the bad weather on the way from France.
Maria José made our check-in and she was very helpful and reassuring and made us feel welcomed.
The room and bathroom were extremely clean, spacious enough for the two of us, and extremely quiet. The room does not have AC but didn’t feel the need for it. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant because it was the day that is closed but Maria José immediately gave us options within walking distance (5 minutes) and we had a good dinner.
The entire hotel is a welcoming space, making it perfect for a stay or a stop to eat or drink like several people did while we were there for a nice breakfast with Maria José always checking if we needed anything more.
The car parking is just outside, near the electric car charger, it’s a safe and quiet place.
The location is perfect, making it a great base for exploring the area.
Would certainly return and recommend it!

Probably the nicest staff we’ve ever encountered from the reception desk to the restaurant staff , a particular shout out to Marcus who was particularly helpful.
The upgrade to a room with a balcony & street view was appreciated.
