Well worth the long drive from the road. The hotel was only opened a couple of years ago and has been designed with excellent taste and attention to detail. Our room was very large, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable . Very pleasant grounds, with a pool, lawns, gardens, even a chapel! We were the only guests and made to feel very welcome by Ramoni, with her visiting brother and sister-in-law kindly helping out with translation when our Spanish let us down. Very good evening meal and an excellent breakfast.

We booked the location late as we were disappointed elsewhere (not booking.com.) When we arrived we checked into a fabulous junior suite. Everything was perfect except for not being able to bbq which we had hoped to do. Regardless - we were able to use the kitchen instead. Everything we needed was available. The beds were comfortable and the bath in the suite was lovely. This was all topped by a glorous view of the river from the balcony. In all we had a great stay. Thank you.
