The pool was great, every morning somebody cleaned it, so that we used it every day. There is a barbeque which you can use, taking the corresponding precautions. How can you go wrong with a 12th century fort? The food was excellent and the service very accommodating. we arrived on a rainy day and the staff built a fire and kept adding logs. we were given an extra blanket and an electric radiator for the stone-walled room.
