Unique stay in a period mansion - treated like royalty by Christina and Valentina - hardwood floors, balcony with views for miles over the valleys.
No dinner but cheese and meat charcuterie with bread gave us what we needed as pilgrims.
Breakfast downstairs overlooking the garden - amazing variety and best fruit and yogurt. Thick toast etc .
Whilst 2.5 km from Colombres we walked out and lovely walk. Took a taxi in the morning which they organised to get back onto Camino.
Fuente de Villa is a charming stone house set between the mountains and the Cantabrian coast, 500 metres away. Rooms feature large windows with views to the beautiful surrounding landscape.

The hotel is charming and decorated with a lot of good taste. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, catering to your needs as best they can. The surrounding area is stunning.
