It’s a beautiful small hotel on a quiet street in a very quiet town. The rooms and bathrooms and shared spaces were all spotless which was great after our experience in Sevilla a month earlier.
We almost stayed in another hotel in an historic monastery (nearby) which we checked out during our trip for a drink & we were very very happy that we went with Casa de la Señora in the end. Much better choice and this property is deserving of its overall high rating.
We spent a lot of time on the rooftop at the pool as it was 38C every day in August and it was perfect with amazing views of the town and its cathedral as well as another church tower. The pool was clean and refreshing. There’s a huge gas grill outside too if you want to BBQ. We wanted to use it but cooking on vacation isn’t ideal for me. I want the time off.
The huge jacuzzi was also great and we enjoyed that in the evenings. Showers with soap & shampoo around the property were all spotless too.
The kitchen with some supplies was great & we appreciated the tea & bread for toast in the mornings and the condiments in the fridge too. Chocolate Quick too for chocolate milk!
The owners met us at check in and gave us a tour of the whole property and explained everything we would have access to during our stay. They were very kind and helpful & easy to contact during our stay when we had questions.
I think there’s a parking lot available but not sure because we used the train from Cordoba to Palma Del Rio which was convenient enough.
Highly recommend this place for more than just a one-night stay!
Palma Del Rio is quiet but we had great dinners out and also delicious cafes for desserts too. The DIA and Mercadona supermarkets aren’t too far away to walk to if you want to get food for the kitchen. Also a smaller supermarket much closer but we are used to the other 2 from living in Madrid.
Halfway between Seville and Córdoba, in the Guadalquivir valley, is this 15th century Franciscan monastery converted into a Destination Hotel.

Stunning location and lovely views. The house was spotless which for such a large property was impressive. The garden is like staying on a mini resort with a lovely pool and outside area. We spent a lot of time in the garden and pool. Any questions we had for the host were answered and resolved and hyper speed.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Building was beautiful. Nice room on ground floor. Excellent parking available for a good price. Breakfast excellent with freshly squeezed oranges. Kitchen area very well organised and instead of going out you can cook your own meals! A most unusual concept but great idea. Jacuzzi and terrace and added bonus. Owner and staff very helpful, helpful and efficient. We would recommend it to anyone. Price was very good value.
This monastery is simply splendid; what a beautiful location. It creates a world of its own of rest and peace. We felt honored to stay there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner were very good. There's even a large swimming pool. The rooms are large for a cloister, nice bathroom. Thanks again for the PARKING CARD.
It is a nice budget hotel worth its money (in our case was 68 euros per night for 2 people).
They have parking but it is not on the premises and the price they charge for it too high in my opinion. It is always possible to just leave the car in the street - the town is very safe.
Location was perfect for the Church. the Fairground and parking. Not in the commercial hub of town, but just fine for what we wanted.
Bar staff work really, really hard, and were pleasant and helpful at all times. ***** for them
Very friendly and helpful host. The place is like a museum, each corner is to be explored. The room was spacious, very clean and comfy. The breakfast was also nice and varied. Very cheap private parking available. We paid €3.79 for a night. We were happy to stay here, and especially to meet beautiful Leo:)
second time we have used this hotel as we travel with a dog.
nice big room with a large bed, good bathroom, nice and clean.
on site parking and a good restaurant and pizza place just across the road.
