Very beautiful quiet place. The room was really spacious, stylish and comfy. You can tell they tried (and succeeded) to create a place where you can really feel comfortable and relax. Everything in the room and the whole house seems well designed and of high quality. Also the terrace and garden are really pretty. It looks even prettier than on the pictures. :) For us, this was perfect after staying in busy Barcelona for several days.
The place has really nice views on surrounding hills, fields and a forest, and even on the Montserrat mountains that are close by. There's a hill with a nice little church and some very nice quiet viewing spots close by. A small town is close, so shopping is fairly convenient (if you have a car).
The room was equipped with pretty much everything you need for cooking, etc. (just bring your own spices). The property also offers some nice extras, like a large common area with games, books, and an honesty kitchen with some drinks and coffee, a barbecue area and lots of different spaces and some hammocks to sit and relax outside. They even offer free eggs from their chickens. In hindsight I'm glad we chose the ground level apartment with a terrace and direct garden access.
The owner sent us some really good hiking tips via WhatsApp and even offered to book a wine cellar tour for us (which was very nice, and in English). Also, we were sadly a bit late for the check-in but they didn't make a fuss about it, which I thought was professional. Be aware the regular check-in time is only a 2 hour timeframe.
We were travelling in April and the weather was good (not hot, not rainy). Note that the pool is very cold around this time (and it's not chlorinated) but still a nice refreshment after sitting in the sun all day. I believe there are 6 (?) apartments in total but we saw only 1 or 2 other groups of people.
I admit the place is not the cheapest, but it's worth it. We ended up extending our stay by a few days.

To begin this review, I want to commend the hosts for their great communication. I began talking to the owners a week before I arrived and they answered all questions I had quickly and pleasantly. When we arrived, Tamara was brilliant and was always around to answer my questions. They also wrote us a list of recommendations for local food, house instructions and important information to remember. This was a nice touch.
When we arrived, we were stunned. The house was breathtaking and I loved the decor. The house feels authentic, rustic and a testament to the ability of the homeowners to design/dress a home. The artwork, sculptures and decorative items are very unique. I love the tables that are drums and the retro radio. The old military shells are insanely cool too. The house has plenty of sources of light, including windows and electric. Naturally, this home is darker to keep the house cool in the scorching Catalonian heat.
One previous review said the house smells of sewage. The house smells lovely. There are lots of nice smell sources, including sprays/oils that make the house smell wonderful.
There are plenty of tables, chairs, areas to relax. We tried to stay in a different area each night and they all had a different vibe. The beds are huge and very comfortable, we slept like babies! There were lots of pillows and bedding, all of which were very comfortable. Perfect for sleeping after a long day of walking and/or swimming.
Outside of the home was just as perfect. It so good to spend the day by the pool or go for a swim in the afternoon. We spent plenty of time around the pool relaxing, listening to music and reading. The area is so lovely and quiet, you can hear the sounds of wildlife, birds and the occasional distant roar of the train nearby. The pool is surrounded by trees and flowers for additional privacy. This makes the place feel even more beautiful, natural and inviting.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The hotel was OK for an overnight stay when travelling, though a long drive from the highway. It's good that the windows of the room did not face the street because the smell in the street was not nice and the entrance door of the hotel was actually in the gas station. Though tired and dated, the hotel was clean. The breakfast was really good. There was plenty of free parking space.
I liked: swimming pool, nice dinner on the terras, free parking
