The people who work in this hotel are simply magnificent: Thoroughly professional, always kind and helpful. Hotel Torques went out of their way to accomodate me when other arrangements made for 2 nights in A Coruna collapsed (a scam of some sort). I am ever so grateful to all the staff: I was sorry to leave without being able to say Adios & Gracias to each of them. The heart of this hotel is the bar restaurant. I never ever saw it closed and it always buzzed with life and atmosphere. Whatever the time or day, they fed me - and the food was always very good. Dont be put off by the fact that Hotel Torques is located on an industrial estate at Bergondo beside highway AC-164, about 7km North of Betanzos, within easy reach of A Coruna & Ferrol.
