This comfortable, quiet apartment was the perfect base for exploring this gorgeous part of Galicia. The location is a couple of kilometres from the centre of Viveiro so a car is useful – or else be prepared to walk. On the street below the apartment block there are a couple of small bars and restaurants, which could come in handy if you arrive late or are not self-catering. I didn't meet the host Keko, but he was extremely helpful and always available and collecting the key from the key box could not have been easier. I believe there is a private garage but it is actually more convenient to use one of the parking spaces on the street just past the apartment.
