Very clean, overlooking a small river with a pretty terrace, Helpful on arrival (after phoning to announce our arrival) and willing to clean the room every day. Internet connection was superb. Most of the shops opened at 9.30 and Bar Cuidol seems to be the most popular, though the Projecta Uncastillo around the corner on the bend, sells local wines and foodstuffs and is also reasonably priced. The pool in Uncastillo is about 10 minutes walk away and well worth a trip though the restaurant there is not as good or varied as it used to be. The room is probably OK for an overnight stay - nothing more.

We stayed here after visiting Las Bardenas Reales. First nearly staff-free hotel stay in my life: check-in, payment, hotel and room access was digital. The room had space and was comfortable.

Lovely place with friendly staff. Good room. Clean and quiet. Galleried living area with a balcony out back. Good breakfast. Said I’d return in the winter to sit in the top lounge in front of the fire.

The location is wonderful. Perfectly placed to explore the Foz de Salinas and surrounding villages. The hotel is very comfortable and charming. The proprietor is a most courteous and attentive host and his wife is a superb chef. We stayed five nights and every dish was delicious and generous.
