The welcome was great, the staff were really pleasant. We got a lovely room with a sea and mountain view. It was our wedding anniversary and there was a nice bottle of cava in the room. They were very thoughtful. Breakfast was good and the Thalassotherapy spa was very relaxing. We used the spa every day. The location was great as it had a beach, walks, several restaurants and some nice bars in the immediate location. Plus it was a 20 minute drive into the centre of San Sebastian from there.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The casa rural was great, the accommodations were all excellent, the setting exemplified the benefits of living in the country, the garden, the orchard, the small farm animals.
The casa had generous communal space in addition to the large bedroom and bath, there was a nice sitting room, terrace and back porch. Parking was easy.
The closest large town, Zumaia was very nice, with restaurants, gas, marina, playa, and walking or biking trails. We spent 2 nights and think we should have planned to stay longer.
We had stayed here once before and wanted to return. It was just as good as we remembered. Friendly people, beautiful gardens, relaxed atmosphere. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Good selection for breakfast. Easy parking outside. Dog friendly. Bar in village where you can get an evening meal. A beautiful area of Spain.
