We stayed in the suite at the Andelen for our wedding and had the most MAGICAL experience. The accommodations were perfect in every way and the hospitality from the owner made us feel right at home. We rented the tandem bicycle on-site and had so much fun exploring the island (and riding it on our wedding day.) The steamer there saved the day (after ours broke), the speaker system was awesome for the jazz radio we played the entire time and the overall beautiful design + functionally of the space worked perfectly for us. Location was perfect...the coming-and-going of the bicycle rental in the backyard made for a lovely balance of gentle liviness and peaceful quietness. We wouldn't change a thing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The house it’s just amazing, it’s so beautiful it looks like a house from a fairy tale, we got the King room and it was brilliant extremely clean and huge size. It’s really close from Aerø town center just a 10 minute bus ride and sorrounded by lots of nature. And Katrine is the best host ever, she even was a witness in our wedding day. Very lovely and cozy house in the middle of the nicest village/ town. The house was very clean and spacious and all the stores and restaurants are at walking distance. We really enjoyed our night there before our wedding on the island and we.hope to go back there some day :)

The "Charakter" of that house, especially the Sleeping Room in the backyard (separat small house, for the kids e.g. :-)) is beautiful / "hygge". An you will love the dish washer after dining outside under the roof... (bring some candles and matches). Not far away you find all you need (Restaurants, Supermarket + Bakery, Apotheke, Beergarden, harbour... In the opposite is a public parking with about 5 or 6 slots - we always got the last one.
