Lovely location, spacious quiet room, lovely decor. Impressive building in a quiet historical village with UNESCO status. The restaurant served a top quality day menu and our waiter John was fantastic!

Very warm welcome and nice room with private bathroom and kitchen. B&B is running by young couple which can be seen in details and ideas in the room and during morning breakfast. We appreciate it! Very nice location in the recreation area by the beach. The owners plan to open soon bistro with fresh modern garden cuisine.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
I had previously booked into another hotel a few Km away, when I arrived a bit earlier than the time I had indicated and found the hotel closed. I was in the car park and phoned the hotel and was told someone would come out and see me! They apologised for not letting me know but that day was a holiday in Denmark! They directed me to this hotel and I can only thank them for making a room available to me as they were essentially fully booked!
Very old hotel (1773) situated in a UNESCO protected town, but with modern facilities.
Very friendly service from all the staff, in particular the ladies in the restaurant.
Restaurant: food was excellent.
Pleanty of free parking available.
Excellent location in this pretty, UNESCO protected town. Character building with high ceilings and wooden floors, spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Sockets close to bed. Free parking on the town square just outside the entrance. Lift. Dog-friendly, though maybe not in breakfast room, depending on who you ask.
- I think I would have given this hotel top marks if it wasn’t for our experience in the restaurant. we arrived late because of a delayed ferry but were still able to order some food. However, the onion soup we ordered which cost some €20 barely covered the bottom of the plate. After informing the staff that we were not happy with this, we felt we were treated with disdain. It was an awful experience.
- the room was large and comfortable as were the beds.
- free parking
- rural location
- quiet
Everything - the cleanness, the big shower with floor heating, the friendly staff - top reception. Great location, parking available. Free tea and coffee in the room.
