We enjoyed a great 3-night stay at Landaus Sixtmühle, with the hotel giving easy access into Munich (by train, with an easy walk to the station) and very pleasant surroundings. Our host was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a substantial breakfast each morning in the very attractive dining room. The room and hotel in general was spotless, and facilities provided were good value for the price. The lounge area with self-serve drinks and snacks was an welcome added bonus. There was a reasonable selection of restaurants very close by.

Check-in was really fast. It seemed like one of the receptionist had 24hour shift. We checked in and she was there to greet us with big smile and next morning when we checked out she was still wearing that friendly smile. Children really liked family room, since it was 2-stories. We were travelling with a family of 4 to Söll in Austra. We decided to leave on Friday so that we could pass München on Friday, and arrive early in Söll on Saturday. We arrived late at night at 21.00 h, and informed the reception by phone we would arrive late. She stayed waiting and kept the 2 rooms free for us.
