The hotel is very well maintained and brilliantly set up for self-catering with really well equipped kitchens even down to good quality cook-ware, crockery, utensils and so on. Our 2-bed apartment was very spacious indeed, very well appointed, a treat for a few days. Superb stay. Friendly family run guesthouse. Beautifully situated, driving through the forest to get here. Beautiful views. Large clean spacious room leading to a large shared terrace that can be partitioned for privacy. Room no.4 had tea, coffee facilities, sofa and table and a large, clean bathroom. No fridge in the bedroom, but water and drinks available from shared fridge in the landing. A lovely touch when holidaying in Germany. Breakfast was delicious with choice of meats, cheese, jams, fresh bread rolls and juice, and their scrambled eggs were the best ever! Beautiful restaurant also for an evening meal. We had the steak, and their grilled meat plate. Homemade fries and more fresh vegetables would have been more appreciated on the plate rather than just shop bought fries. However the meat was perfectly cooked. Dessert was delicious. Great choice of wine available.
