Communication with Dagmar and Mechthild was good and friendly from booking till leaving. They made sure we felt more than welcome. The house itself is very cozy and spacious. Everything looks brand new and is very clean. Each room has it's own charm and you feel how much effort is put in details. In the kitchen you'll find everything you need, even an oven AND a microwave. The garden is beautiful and has several options to relax and unwind. A firepit, a grill, comfy chairs and a place to enjoy dinner or breakfast outside. The sauna is also very clean and looks brand new and is, together with a seperate small welness building, optional for €30 a day. Which isn't much since you can enjoy it to the fullest and not only 2 hrs or a specific time of day. Parking on the driveway in front of the building is a nice plus. Feriendomizil Alte Post is perfect located to enjoy the outdoors. Walking and bicycle routes are just around the corner, Alfbachtal and many lovely small creeks are waiting for you. A bakery with cafe and an Italian restaurant are in Pronsveld itself, at the Eisenbahnmuseum you'll find a cafe in a former train and we definitely recommend them. Beautiful Trier or Luxembourgh is only 50 minutes by car and more nearby are cute little towns like Prüm with large shops for grocery etc. We already look forward to book again!

the location was fantastic. it was roomy, the house is built in a way where you will always have loght shining in. 5 to 9am you got sun on the balcony 9 to 3 you got that front facing terrace sun, and then youll get some dope evening bedroom sun. its in the middle of nowhere, there is no wifi and the people who are hosting the apartment are the most wholesom and loving people ive ever met. go ask them if you can borrow a bike and 5 min later youll be fixing one uo together with them heh.
