The hotel is located in a beautiful region. Despite the fact that it was full of tourists, everything was very calm, organized and silent. We could rest very well without being disturbed. We had a lovely one night stay here but we wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived the owners were welcoming and friendly. The apartment was authentic and charming and the grounds and gardens were perfect for relaxing. A nice clean swimming pool and plenty of shade under trees. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stara Vapenka. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature. Outside the hotel there are tables and chairs to enjoy a summer evening drink or meal. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. The hotel room we stayed in was large and spacious. It is pet friendly.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
- Kitchen was new (another one than on the pictures, so positive).
- New and pretty bathroom.
- Everything on ground level (see left side of the front house on the picture).
- Owners weren't there most of the time (they usually live in the other part of the house) so it was very peaceful and we had quite some privacy.
- Wifi perfect.
- Good parking.
