The hotel is a little sanctuary behind its gates, with a garden, an outside dining area, the Wellness Suite, and the bar/restaurant, as well as the rooms themselves. It is incredibly peaceful, set in a quiet residential area with a small supermarket nearby, yet only a 15 minute drive to Ceske Budejovice. The food was good on the occasions we ate there, although the menu is a little limited. Breakfast buffet was good, with plenty of options, juice, tea, coffee and even Prosecco for Bucks Fizz. David, his wife and family are excellent hosts and were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
