The staff are very friendly and professional and the food, both dinners and breakfast, is great. Very child friendly as well, with a little play corner. You need a car, but you are perfectly situated both for Lázně Kynžvart, Kladská, Cheb and Marianské and Františkovy Lázně.

The location was good, walking distance to two grocery shops and to the spa area. We visited the educational forest path in Kladská and Mariánské lázně (by car). We did not manage to see the nearby castle. The apartment was comfortable, there was everything we needed.

Simple, good motel for a good price. Don't expect a luxury, but if you need nice place to sleep for a good price, Penzion nad Halou is what you are looking for. Room furnishing is just right: enough hooks, chairs and shelves. Yeah, I know that should be obvious, but in many much more expensive hotels I was lacking simple one hook more in the bathroom. The surroundings are nice and quiet. It is a good starting point for one day trips around the region if you are traveling by a car.
