This location is great, the staff were so friendly and helpful (and quick to respond). Breakfast was really nice. Spacious kitchen and lovely outdoor common area. Not a lot of space for remote/co-work indoors, but the rooms and lockers are spacious and everything was clean.

I had a wonderful experience at Hostel Coati! Yorle and Mauricio went above and beyond to make my stay very comfortable. The rooms were very clean and yes hot showers was a plus. 😊 They decorated for Christmas inside and outside was very beautiful with Christmas music playing outside all day. Mauricio was extremely helpful and accommodating with checking in, booking tours and making sure you had everything you needed. Yorle made my stay very magical and because of that I will miss everyone. I got to spend Christmas with them with an amazing dinner and gift exchange was awesome! They made me a family member during my stay! The breakfast was different every day as well was very filling. The lunch and dinner menu was traditional Costa Rican food with low prices and lots of food. I highly recommend Hostel Coati be your stay in Monteverde. Be sure to say hola from Michael from Orlando Florida for me! 🤗

Perfect for our stay, great location near the restaurants and cafes, really comfy bed and clean. Had a kitchen which we didn't end up using but would if we stayed longer. Free breakfast was a great addition. Would recommend.

The room that we were staying had a very cute balcony with a feeling like you are in the middle of the forrest. The location was perfect, 2 mins from the centre but set back from the road so not noisy . The beds were the most comfortable we had in our whole stay in Costa Rica. The decor was really modern. The owner was super friendly and helped straight away when he realised a problem with the drains he'd been fixing still needed solving and fixed it immediately.
