The beach of San Miguel, 5 minutes away by car, is stunning and very clean, and we hardly see anyone. There are some very good places to dine in the area. And finally, Corinne and Laurent's friendly welcome is irreproachable: two adorable people who take care of their guests, very communicative and warm, while knowing how to remain discreet. We spent 3 wonderful days there, surely the best of our trip to Costa Rica.

Oh my gosh, this place is a magical paradise! Just go. You'll be transported to a supremely relaxing and decadent beach jungle. We stayed in the room with its own infinity pool - WORTH IT! Breakfasts are divine, the views are off the charts, all the finishings are gorgeous and thoughtful. We kept noticing cool touches and said nothing is overlooked or unplanned at Canta La Rana. They've seriously thought of everything ! You'll marvel at the location and wonder how in the world did they build such an amazing retreat on this high ridge. But it's perfect! And very, very close to the beach (although you'll want to drive, and have a 4x4 - no joke)!
