Don Diego

The Fort is beautifully designed with such thought. It’s integrated into the natural surroundings and also has lovely little comforts for a traveller to enjoy - personal fans, mosquito nets, double or single beds in the dorms, THE BEST kitchen out of any hostel potentially ever and a little store in reception where you can buy dry goods and even fresh veggies. It’s the perfect space to relax and zen out - maybe treating yourself to a couple of brilliant cocktails too. If you do feel inclined to do some adventures, it’s really easy to do day trips to surrounding spots from the hostel using the coastal bus service. Bonus points for the effort made to set up a screen to watch the Rugby World Cup final on our last day - thanks team! We loved it here and hope to return one day soon!

The location on the river and actually in a small archaeological site were fantastic. Food was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. the bed was very comfortable.

Selvita is easy to find but for us (60'ers) a little hard to get there if you have to carry your luggage up... Once you are there it is a true treasure, in the middle of nature, fruits, flowers and cacao, a stay in a beautifully built house of bambu and wood. A very nice bed and terrace overlooking the sea and you can use the kitchen with all facilities. After our stay of 5 nights Polo (our super sympathic host) arranged a mule to carry our bags, this was such a great solution! Polo is providing good tips and he is also creating fantastic home made chocolate, really a joy to taste! In short: a perfect stay!!

Everything about this place is beautiful, from the views to the rooms, we loved every moment of our stay here. Julia was so lovely and made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. One of the most relaxing places we have stayed in Colombia. The perfect place to watch sunrise. 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful time in finca La Jorara. The place has stunning views, wonderful nature and very comfy rooms. We loved staying next to the sea and enjoyed natural pool a lot. Stayed here to go to the Rio hostel party and also have some private space and a nice shower after Tayrona. For both these things it was perfect - ideal location and the room was very nice and extremely clean. Breakfast was also yummy. The best part though was the staff who were absolute sweethearts. They really go above and beyond for the guests. Absolutely recommend.
