very modern and beautiful designed. big room. nice view. I liked the bathroom situation and the robot who brought the snacks I ordered in the city to my room. the staff tried to be helpful though they do not speak English . just opposite of the hotel is an extremely beautiful old street with nice bars and food!!

A true 5 star hotel. I genuinely did not expect this. There are 2 Sofitels in this complex (Renmin square and Legend). This review is for the Legend. Firstly, truly excellent staff. Everyone was professional, kind, attentive, and go the extra mile every time! A special thank you to Butler Fancy, who went above and beyond for my wife and I. The hotel is immaculate. All areas are pristine, especially the rooms. Our room was fantastic and everything was extremely clean. The exterior grounds are just as immaculate as the internal spaces. Breakfast options were great, bar has a happy hour, location was only a few minutes taxi from all the main spots.
I usually do leave reviews for hotels, but they are short and succinct. However, I felt the need to rate this property and its staff as best as I could. This was the best hotel we encountered on our China trip. It would be a pleasure to go back there!
