The location is amazing, and our tiny cabin had wonderful views of the lake. Wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the wind and the waves. Food in the restaurant was basic but good, and the atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. A great place to order a bottle of wine and play a board game. We had a wonderful stay at Chalenko. We used the toaster oven in the cabin to heat up left-over pizza from the restaurant which worked out great. We also appreciated the tea pot and coffee available in the tiny cabin.

It was a lovely stay, the host is very friendly, and we had a lovely time away from overly touristic spots.
In another review someone complained about the wifi, but this is not true. It worked perfectly on both our phones.

Great location, right in the centre of town and you can see the lake from the flat. Flat is big and looks new. Free parking on site. Kitchen has everything you need.
Lots of secure parking for our motorbikes and even space to wash all the Patagonia dust off them. Our room was large and had a small balcony overlooking the street. The town is so tiny you are a quick walk to everywhere.
Very spacious living room and bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect for families. Great location right on the main road around the lake. Good parking spot on the premises in a sort of little courtyard.
Convenient location. right across the street is where the main tourist group offices are located. directly across is lago general carrera and it was quite breathtaking to see in the morning when you wake up. Host was accommodating. She went out of her way to help us plan out our limited time in Puerto rio tranquilo. having parking within the property is a huge plus.
Great location in Puerto Rio Tranquilo right across from the gas station, and around the corner from the main restaurants and pier. Staff was very nice and helpful. Beds are comfy, bathroom good size and clean. Private parking lot was nice. Internet was good. We booked the Marble Cave tour through this company, the tour itself was great (I would suggest the normal tour, not the FULL tour, is sufficient).
