The views down to the lake were lovely. There are lots of family friendly walks on the doorstep. Great range of international TV channels for slower mornings with the kids or waiting for rain to stop. Kitchen well equipped. The 3 level house felt spacious and pleasent with 2 children, all had their own space when wanted. Almost everything was for us positive. It was clean, well stocked, and Andera was friendly and thought of many things for our comfort, was helpful with ideas for local visits etc.

Hotel should be closed or rebuild as per 2023 standard... There is one WC for all building, room where I stay, was not changing bedsheets, only what was nice and O. K was nice recaption person and breakfast in hotel Heiden... Hotel Park as is today, is not Hotel, maybe Hostel...

This is not a hotel, so food was in the fridge and we got fresh pastry at the door each morning and ate in the room. There was assortment of cold cuts, cheeses, boiled eggs, butter, yogurts, excellent home made jams, milk, fruits. There is good coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is 8 SF /person extra, honestly not sure about value since we did not visit any stores to compare prices but food was sufficient and good quality. Place is well soundproofed and has private patio, you do not hear anything, very quiet. Electric blinds on windows, in floor heating is very pleasant. Wifi was excellent at 40Mbits. Bit funny entry via narrow round stair, but otherwise cute, unusual and private place, decent size for 2 people (we had studio at ground level for 2). There is also stock of boxes of tea, coffee, spices and we got small bottle of wine also. Place was meticulously clean. Parking was available right at the front door. We got tips from the host Hans about attractions in the area and a pass which saved us $.

Location and lake secenery is spectacular. When arriving to hotel is very clear that castle is real and not one of those artificial places that looks only good in photos. Hotel staff is very friendly. Great place to do hiking around the area. When driving to hotel, I recommend to take longer route that arrives to hotel from the top of the hill.
