Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was made for us and brought to our table. Was a very nice gesture. The rest we grabbed a bit of everything, the bread was still warm and crispy. The croissants also were divine.

The check-in was the best I've ever had. Very flexible. We arrived a bit late and our room key was placed in a letterbox outside of the hotel, with a pin code that was sent to us previously.

A very nice and clean hotel. The reception for Ochsen Lodge is at the opposite side of the street, in the main Ochsen hotel.
In the lobby of Lodge, snacks and drinks (enough even for a light breakfast) are available, free of charge for the guests.
It was incredible quiet, very clean, very good WIFI connection.

Either Switzerland is to blame, but Ascott Hotel has the kindest people. I have been checking in outside the check-in hours, but nevertheless, I was met with a smile! In the mornings, during breakfast, personnel ask you for the coffee/tee preferences; they are extremely attentive all in all when it comes to minor requests. Much recommended!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Easy self check-in late in the evening. Private parking right next to the entrance. Beautiful, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet - did not hear any traffic noise or other guests. Good and varied breakfast in the morning.

Good breakfast with warm fresh bread, crossiants, yoghurt, cheese, eggs and coffee. No fresh fruit and the coffee wasn't great. Didn't meet any staff until breakfast but they were friendly once we saw them! Mainly peaceful location but be aware there are church bells going until late and very early.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Parking was right next to the hotel and easy to find. The breakfast was European style which contained fresh baked warm bread.

next to a disastrous urban development. Luckily our room overlooked the car park.Difficult to review staff when the only person we saw was the breakfast lady (who was friendly). Presumably because of covid.
