Its location both pretty close to the autostrada for travelling and right in Piazza Grande for walking in the town and also a path behind leading il ponte vecchio and the hill with vineyards behind. Staff were excellent and dinner was very good. Can also hire bikes, always a good thing.

Al Torchino Charme is a great hotel very centrally located in Ascona. the hotel was modern and well equipped.
The staff were really helpful and friendly.
The hotel overall is a great value for money and I would put 5 stars if the breakfast was better.
Property doesn’t have a parking but you can park shortly for checkin and check out. There is a discount for the city parking please request.

The moment you walk in, you drop your shoulders and breathe, you feel completely at home. The hotel reception, bar to the right and the terraces are just fabulous spaces to spend your time in. The wonderful views across Maggiore, oodles of friendly staff, watching thunderstorms on the balcony, big beautiful bedrooms, it's the stuff of dreams. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, one of my favourites in the world.

Located in Minusio and a short walk to the railway station makes this hotel a 4 minute train journey to Locarno. That being so this is an Ideal location to relax away from the city centre but close enough for easy access. Note also that the Swiss train system is reliable, clean and regular. The Remorino is excellent in every way, the staff especially, friendly, efficient, helpful. Our room was comfortable, everything you would expect. The choices at breakfast are many and will set you up for the day. Lastly, although set in a residential area, nice and quiet, the hotel has nice garden with a heated pool, a great place to come back to after a days sightseeing.
The family-run Hotel Garni Golf is located in the heart of Ascona’s Old Town, just steps away from the promenade and Lake Maggiore. Guests can benefit from free WiFi.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Owner and staff are brilliant, friendly accommodating, helpful with advice on things to see that are not the usual tourist attractions 👍👍

the rooms are spot on size wise, clean, Aircon/shutters and with everything you need.
The restaurant is relaxed with good food..
Nice pool area, also play area for children, tennis court. Perfect for relaxing.
