There is safe storage for bikes and a workshop with tools. There are also e-bikes which guests can use free of charge, ideal for getting in to the town (which is otherwise a 12 min walk) or generally exploring Olten. The B&B is at the end of a quiet street in a residential area.
The rooms are small (the bathroom is tiny) but everything is clean and well-organised. Each room also has outdoor seating. Wifi works well. Breakfast is self-service with a good selection to choose from, and there is an honesty bar if you fancy drinking a cold beer in the garden. Reto is friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay here if I come to Olten again. It's very good value for money and has everything I need.

location was excellent.. 4 min walk from the station. They gave me an early check in. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also very nice. I loved the fruit tea.
Staff only knew to speak Spanish but was so helpful. we communicated through the Google translation app. I could leave my luggage after check out for a few hours without any hassle.

Lovely place, we chose it as it was central to 4 areas we wanted to visit. Had an issue with the cooker and the host resolved it in minutes (thanks). Nice to have a washing machine as we were on the road for 11 days, good shower, safe parking and safe quiet area.

Apartments by Hotel Astoria is located in Olten, 39 km from Roman Town of Augusta Raurica, 48 km from Schaulager, as well as 48 km from Kunstmuseum Basel.
Good sized and comfortable rooms. Very convenient for the trains and also good parking. There are three restaurants in the 60m between station and hotel, but none on Sundays (try platform 7 on the station until 18.30!).
Comfort, cleanliness, spacious room and bathroom (we had a family suite for a family with 2 kids); location close to railway station, but silent, and to old town. Outdoor private parking place.
Hotel is centrally located in the town. Parking was super and staff was helpful. The “app” register, check-in, open doors, and check-out was super cool. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
A few times a year I have to work for a client at Olten. My first choice always is the Hotel Arte.
It is convenient to get there, park the car in the parking garage, maybe get some grocery in the inhouse grocery shop Migros.
The rooms are well furnished, nicely decorated with an art wall highlighting different Swiss artist. I like the floorplan, the set-up of the bathroom, the desk providing enough space to work.
