Great location above a restaurant/store in Gruyere - room was bigger than I thought it would be, and had an elevator to get us up to the second floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Check in was fast and very gentle/ friendly. The hotel is new and well located on the second floor of a shopping (pharmacy, a small market, cheese and wine store, etc); room was very clean and well decorated, shower is excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good and tasty (salmon, cheese, etc). I chose The Hotel D because of the garage and the proximity to Gruyeres but the experience overall was very good! The train station is beside but you can not hear anything from there, zero noise. The Bulle center is very close and cute with little restaurants (it is not necessary to use a car).
