Imagine spending a night in a old shoe maker factory BATA. Here we are in the old "factory village" where people were working, living and enjoying life in the past. Every corner you can feel the history of the place with super nice black and white pictures... Beside that, a confortable mordern hotel, with all luxury and equipment you need, lost in a fantastic parc where you will see time to time storks. The crew is professionnal and smiling. Anthony was super friendly, quick to communicate and answer questions. The location of the guesthouse in Rheinfelden is very good, close to the station and within walking distance of the old town centre. Great breakfast and all day / night honesty bar and snacks. Definitely recommend if you are looking to stay near Basel (trains are only 15mins or so into the centre from here). The local area is fabulous too with lovely walks along the Rhein and the historic centre of Rheinfelden to explore.
The B&B Hersberg enjoys a quiet rural location, just 1 km from the Arisdorf exit of the A2 motorway. The centre of Basel is reachable within a 20-minute drive.

Good location near to station (5 mins walk), staff all very pleasant and welcoming. Public areas appeared clean and well maintained, with a modern look. Restaurant food was very nice and the waiting staff very engaging and friendly. Bedroom was clean, well equipped with good lighting controls.

Breakfast was definitely amazing. It had a big variety of fruits, salty and sweet goods without being unhealthy. I totally recommend including breakfast in your stay.
The room was also very cozy and the bathroom quite big, clean and comfortable.
Bonus Points: It has a huge variety of board games to choose from if you want to stay indoors
