Our hosts Viviene and Ingo were exceptional hosts from their warm welcome, to the minute we left..our room was wonderful and so so comfortable. Their home was decorated and furnished to the highest standard with wonderful period furniture - a real treat to enjoy ! The surrounding landscape was 'picture postcard' beautiful with rolling fields and backdrop of mountains. We had the pleasure of enjoying one of Ingo's exceptional evening dinners - incredible from start to finish ! Viviene always asked if there was anything we needed and giving us invaluable advice about local places to visit. The Blomberg BnB was a very special experience. It is situated in the middle of the countryside, between rolling hills and green fields, with a view of the Säntis mountain on a clear day. The surrounding area is completely quiet, except the occasional ring of cowbells grazing the grass. The owners, Emmy and Viktor, are very welcoming and hospitable - we ourselves don't speak German, but we managed to communicate with them just fine with our phone's translation app. The room and the house are kept exceptionally tidy and clean, as well as the shared bathroom. The breakfast is also wonderful, A traditional regional breakfast with local ingredients and fresh eggs from the house's chickens. It was a great start for every day of sightseeing and touring the countryside!
