This was the last leg of our week of Swiss Travel Pass train trips specifically to visit the Kloster Sarnen. After six days of crowded tourist destinations, Sarnen was a welcomed place to rest and recuperate. Hotel Metzgern was a genuine oasis. Close to the Train Station, extremely friendly staff, excellent restaurant and food and by far the nicest place we stayed on our journey. The bathroom and spa bath in the Panorama Suite has to be seen to be believed. LED lighting in the tiles made for such a romantic and relaxing atmosphere to wash away the travel aches and pains. As far as accommodation is concerned this was the highlight of our trip.

The apartment is very spacious, clean and beautifully designed. Great view from the windows and a very convenient location. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Nice sitting area outside. Nice hotel in a beautiful location. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and equipped with most necessary things. The room itself has a good size with enough storage units, very quiet and not just sue to the location and the bed was really comfortable to sleep on. The restaurant is also a good choice to have a dinner.
