Lovely Chalet at the top of a small village above Sierre. Bring your supplies up from the valley and enjoy the views and cooking your meals in the well equipped kitchen. The beautiful town of Vercorin is just a little hike up the mountain and you can cross to the other side of the valley via a suspension bridge. Just make sure it’s still open when you come back. The bungee jumpers closed it around 6 pm just when I got there.

The owner-run Hotel Splendide is located about a 3-minute walk from the centre of Crans-sur-Sierre and 400 metres from the cable car, and offers panoramic mountain views.

The location is very central, except that more walking to the bus station was required because of road works taking the closest stop out of action. The owner Kindly offered to drive me. The breakfast is very complete.

We stayed only one night. So as an one night place it was great. Beautiful nature and mountains view. As we were coming from italy, the view was a bit similar - many vineyards on a mountains with a "small" difference - everything is clean, silent and cozy.
