A lovely place to stay: the apartment looks brand new and is spotless. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, there's a Nespresso-style coffee machine (with coffee too :)). There are some useful tourist brochures in the living room, as well as board games (a big plus for families). The area is peaceful and quiet, the hosts are very nice and welcoming people. However, best of all is the garden. Beautiful greenery and anything that grows there is up for grabs for guests (we were there in raspberry season and loved picking the sweet and ripe raspberries). If you're lucky, the hens might even produce fresh eggs for you (they were being lazy during our stay). And, to save the best for last, there's the incredible view: towering mountains all around with Lago Maggiore in the background.

Airconditioner! We stayed in 8 hotels in Switzerland and didn't see any airconditioner so far. We like it cool and loved it! The place is very new, clean and modern. There's a kettle and tea in the room. The breakfast was very nice with lots of fresh and dried fruits. Musli, cereal, lunch meat and cheese. Bread and jams. Chocolate cake and pear tart! The restaurant was not open that night but some other nearby restaurants info was on the bulletin board. Fantastic place and reasonable price. Close to Bellinzona and convenient to see castles.
