Stay here for a week if you can! We are crushed that our visit was so short.
The hosts are the friendliest, nicest folks we've ever met. They were there to welcome us with mint tea when we drove up, and spent ages walking us through all the amenities of their wonderful apartment and community.
They look after even the smallest detail -- they even closed the blinds on one of the windows so the chocolate the put on the bed didn't melt! They pointed us to the best spots to go for mountain views (the local reservoir) and country-road running (with possible 3k, 4.5k and 6k routes drawn on a color-coded map) and answered every question we could come up with.
The room itself is tremendous -- a freestanding one-room structure tucked into the garden below their house. It's super private, but has views of the hills, fields and mountains beyond.

It’s unusual, a change from traditional accommodation. An effort was made to make it comfortable despite the infrastructure being simple. Everything was prepared for my arrival, including a bowl of fresh water for my dog.
