We liked staying near Valemount town. We wanted to see the area near Jasper National Park as we couldn’t stay there due to recent fires. It’s a very convenient location to visit Mt Robson, which was fabulous. We also went on the river safari at Blue River nearby. We enjoyed the fairly remote location and found the township convenient for groceries. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had a bbq which we used. It’s a well maintained property. The caretaker, Kendra, gave us a friendly welcome and explained how things all worked.
Hiking trails and ski trails are located just off this resort. Mt Robson Provincial Park is 1 hours’ drive away. The chalet features a fireplace and a view of the Rocky Mountains.

Dee’s breakfasts were incredible! Something different everyday and always delicious. The freshly made granola was a favourite! The cottage is cosy and quiet, and our room had everything we needed. Dee is a wonderful host, super friendly and a great source of recommendations. The location in Valemount is excellent and we walked up to the Main Street where we enjoyed good food and a visit to the Three Ranges Brewery. We were staying here to visit Mount Robson Provincial Park which is a half hour drive North. We also visited the Ancient Forest Provincial Park past McBride and we would highly recommend that too.

Lovely setting in the restaurant. Staff welcoming. We have been in several hotels on our trip, and were so grateful to have staff who could SPEAK ENGLISH properly. Many of these are on some kind of temp foreign hospitality worker program, but you must have hired the cream of the crop. So hard to believe that there are no Canadians who can/will work in hotels.
Jackman Flats Provincial Park is 15.3 km from this hotel located off Highway 5 in Valemount. Vacation Inn Dine & Lounge is on site and each suite offers views of the Rocky Mountains.

The price as better than most other accommodation in Valemount for the night we stayed.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
