This beautifully restored historic home was comfortable and elegant. We particularly appreciated access to the well-stocked kitchen to help ourselves for breakfast and make a cuppa at other times. The generosity and friendliness of the host was exceptional.

Ideally located in Pictou County, just minutes from downtown New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, the Comfort Inn offers a non-smoking environment and a daily hot breakfast.

Renovated in October 2013, Comfort Inn New Glasgow is just a short drive from the nearby towns of Stellarton, Trenton and Westville. The Northumberland Ferry with service to Prince Edward Island is also nearby. Other area attractions include the Magic Valley Fun Park and the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

Breakfast was great, staff was great. My only complaint, and I mention this each time, is that the peepholes are too high for anyone 5'6" or under.

    Honestly while New Glasgow May not be the most exciting stop in Nova Scotia - Riverside Inn is worth the pit stop. Absolute favorite Inn we stayed at - the room and bathroom were very lovely and modern, the bathrobes were a great addition. The backyard was absolutely stunning with a lovely hot tub and furniture and fire pit. The owner was incredibly lovely and kind. Parking was available too! Internet connection was great.

    We got a suite for $ 187 a night. We appreciated the size of the room, the cleanliness was there, we liked the bathroom, but especially the shower which had a perfect water flow, the breakfast offered in the price of the room was plentiful and good for this kind of breakfast, tea and coffee are offered and available at all times and for my part I must say that the coffee was very good, the friendliness of the employees, the free parking. I would definitely stay at Travelodge Suites by Wyndham New Glasgow.
