We chose this place for a stop over on our way from Quebec to Halifax. We wish we could have stayed longer as Marisca and Jeff have created a gem! They (and Winston, a lovely gentle poodle) gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was beautiful with a fantastic bed and spotlessly clean. Lovely home cooked breakfast and cookies. Fantastic location, beautiful view. It was very private and relaxing. It had everything we needed and more. The outside was so nice, we ate our dinner and breakfast on the patio overlooking the River- we didn’t even turn on the TV once. Location was great for our purposes - to go to the Hopewell Park.
