The owner went beyond our expectations to help us as much as he could. He booked us a taxi for the morning to seven rila lakes and after our hike he personally picked us up from the mountain. He even gave us a ride from dupnitsa when we arrived. We communicated with google translate and we didn't have issue with it, it was fun. The room itself was simple and very clean. Overall it was an authentic experience and would definitely stay here again.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Good host, handing over a decently renovated house in a nice quiet spot, huge yard available for parking behind the gate was a plus. Good kitchen, AC in living room and top most floor, but missing in the middle floor. Total of three bathrooms is a big plus, too
The owner/landlady was very helpful. She had no English but used a very effective app on her phone to get over that.
Everything worked. It was very well equipped although the air conditioners had not yet been fitted. They weren't needed. At least two coffee makers. A worthy washing machine with a clothes line and pegs.
Secluded. Parking outside in a very quiet street (unpaved) in a v quiet village.
Excellent restaurant a couple of km away. So too, a fine supermarke.
A good slot for exploring the magnificent Seven Rila Lakes.
