This hotel is as good as any big-city five star hotel in terms of the soft product! Everything was done professionally. We received a warm welcome and informative walk-through of all facilities offered on site at check-in. We were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a suite ("apartment" in the hotel's verbiage) since all junior suites were booked - who would have thought a small-town boutique hotel would do upgrades?! There was a welcome amenity (two kiwi fruits and water) in the room and the TV in the room displayed a welcome message. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower area. We liked the firm bed. Breakfast was great. Parking lot for hotel guests really helped at the peak of the Rose Festival. Overall, it was clear that people here really care about what they do and tried their best to do it well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying at Kazanlak!

This family hotel is great. The hosts are nice, the rooms are very clean and spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. We had the perk of having a balcony, which my wife enjoyed very much. There are no mosquito screens but there is an AC unit and you will keep cool in the summer even without opening the windows. The bathroom is also very nice and it even had a shower cabin, which is rare in Bulgaria. The hotel is located on the edge of town in a very nice district close to the Thracian Tomb. It is very quiet during at night and walking distance to downtown. The breakfast in the morning was nice, although it did take some time before we got served. It is not buffet style, but you have the choice between 5-6 different breakfasts. I would stay there again, if I am in town.

Hotel Diamond in Kazanlak was easy to find and located just across a round-a-bout from the Historical and Archeological Museum. They have a private parking garage under the hotel and also some reserved spots on the street in front of the hotel, so parking was easy and SECURE. The staff was GREAT! The room was clean and comfortable and I slept very well. I was in Kazanlak ten years ago, traveling through the Balkins by bus and Kazanlak was one of my favorite cities in Bulgaria and it remains that after my recent visit. If I return to Bulgaria and Kazanlak, I would definitely stay here again.
