Maydena is beautiful and very fortunate to have the amazing Fika Cafe open year round. The restaurant onsite is very cosy with a fireplace. The laundry facilities were brilliant, great for hikers. Kitchen well equipped. Convenient location to Mt Field and Southwest National Park.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The accomodation was large well planned and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful for a relaxing stay or plenty of driving destinations to see. We woke up one night to see a little qwoll peering in through the bedroom window. Very cute. Cooking facilities are good and the TV reception is really good. We used our own Telstra wi-fi dongle. That and Telstra phones work fine. We stayed in the rangers cottage. The units are a good distance from each other. Both have undercover parking at the door.. A great choice for a quiet break.
