The accomodation was spotlessly clean and spacious. A myriad of ‘extras’ made our stay very comfortable and easy … from the breakfast and foodstuffs provided to the facilities available for use.
The location was ideal as we spent a good part of one day at the mine and heritage museum and also found it convenient to explore other areas on the Tamar.

exceptional all round experience. all staff were great and went out of their way to make my stay warm and inviting. the cleanliness of the property was excellent, could not fault. the property was open and inviting, so you could see the heritage of the place throughout, which i thought was so good by the owners. cannot fault my experience and this is someone that has travelled extensively throughout most of the eastern coast of australia & stayed in 100's + of motels, hotels, airbnb's etc. well done Moss, Donna & Gavin!

Such a cool place to stay! We were worried it might be cold (as weather was freezing) but the property was warm and cozy. So fun to wander around low head and visit the museum. Managed to see penguins at the beach! Minimalist in terms of furnishings but still comfortable and perfect for just one night stay with kids. Super quiet. Good water pressure in the shower.

This spot was absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on our last night in Tasmania. It was just a beautiful, serene spot. The spa and plunge pool were a plus! We enjoyed it so much I immediately bought a voucher for my sister in Launceston so she can come enjoy this hideaway.

Good location but car dependant. VERY helpful lady on reception on arrival. Lovely hot showers, comfy bed, everything we needed. Sea view. Very quiet. Didn't use any facilities other than laundry. Not too busy...the BBQ was a huge bonus as was the rainwater tank. Lovely fresh water. Thank you.

Very easy to collect the keys from the drop box outside, as soon as i arrived i had access no waiting for hassles :) The place was great , i was very surprised to find the host had stocked the fridge with milk and egg; took the hassle out of shopping on the first night. The dedicated parking spot was convenient. The water view from the veranda was nice to site out on at night and in the mornings with breakfast :)
Cabin had everything we required, clean and well appointed, covered parking, verandah with outdoor furniture to enjoy the beautiful peaceful surroundings.
