The room was spacious, and the pool was nice to cool down from the heat. The hotel is very close to the town centre with cafes, shops and a supermarket (less than 2min walk).
Perfectly positioned to make the most of the Australian outback, Sails in the Desert is just a 5-minute walk from the Uluru (Ayers Rock) lookout and is a great spot to take in the desert sunrise or...

Good value for money, good facilities, clean, friendly staff, good vibes at night, good transport to and from the national park and town square of the resort.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
A great hotel and the double bed room is great for 4 people. The bathroom is really nice and clean. For the meals we really love the outback pioneer and it’s free BBQ. There is also a big free parking.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, great location to the town centre and the sites, room was modern/clean with lots of room and very comfortable. There was lots of parking on site for people who have cars. On site restaurant/ bar which is super convince. Definitely worth the visit and stay.
Great location in Yulara. Large Hotel surrounding pleasant pool (too cold at this time). Nice sized room with plenty of space, nothing flash, but very clean and tidy. Parking is by the Supermarket a short stroll away.
Location was fantastic - very close to the Town Square and the other resort facilities. Also close to the pick up point for coach trips and plenty of car parking
Staff were super friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble
Pool was lovely and there were always plenty of fresh beach towels and sun loungers
Good value for money
We enjoyed our stay at Sails at the Desert. The rooms were big, the resort handled most logistics which made travel easier, parking was readily available each time and the staff were nice. We didn't use the free airport shuttle provided by the hotel/resort because we rented a car, but that is a very nice benefit for guests. We also appreciated the free ice water in the lobby to refill our water bottles.
Nice and clean accommodation, silent, comfortable beds, nice pool area, parking lots close to apartment, very (!!) helpful and friendly stuff. Everything was ok while staying here for 3 days/2 nights.
Great place to base yourself for exploring Uluru during the day, and the pool to come back to and relax in the afternoon sun was a bonus. Clean and tidy room with a good shower and a comfy bed. Loads of parking if you drive there and the benefit of having hire car companies on site during certain times
