The rooms are very nicely prepared - we had a two-story room with a spacious bathroom incl whirlpool. Eating at the Roanwirt is also really nice (typical Austrian cuisine). The sauna area is not the biggest, but it was never crowded. The staff are tremendously forthcoming and friendly. In the area, you can hike up to Pogusch and have amazing views of the mountains.

The reception was very friendly and helpful. She explained and pointed everything that was necessary. The hotel is newly renovated and very lovely. The room was the right size and the bed was comfortable. The shower was roomy, easy to use and had a rain function that was nice. The breakfast was good including fresh eggs cooked to your specifications, bacon, sausages, cheeses, breakfast meats, veggies, cereals, jogurts, tasty breads and rolls, jams, butter, honey - everything you could want. With good coffee and an array of teas. There are vending machines with a variety of drinks (including beer and wine) and snacks.

Great traditional Austrian hotel, modern lovely well appointed room with nice en suite bathroom both were very clean. Comfortable bed very quiet at night so very good nights sleep. Room also has it's own balcony to sit out on with a good view. I had evening meal in the adjoining restaurant which was excellent with a good selection of authentic Austrian cuisine, the breakfast provided was very good plentiful and well prepared. The staff were superb friendly and attentive would definitely recommend staying there also good safe parking.
Our hotel stay was fantastic! The cowshed-facing view exuded a delightful village charm, complemented by warm hospitality. The kind host, coupled with great breakfast and convenient parking, made our experience truly memorable.
Lovely spacious room. Clean, tidy. Comfy beds. Kids in seperate room, although 2 single beds would have been better than a double sofa bed. Fridge, tea,, coffee facilities. Large car park just before the hotel. Key code for each room instead of a key. Load of open space & things for the kids to do. Dog friendly.
