We went to the Wachau Wine Festival and this house is convenient to the places we were going without being overwhelmed by the crowds that usually attend. The hosts were very nice and we achieved a feeling of mutual respect from the start.

Excellent stay! We had a very pleasant three-night stay--couldn't ask for better. The rooms are new and well thought out and designed. The location is an easy walk from the old town of Durnstein so you can get away from the busyness of the old town. If you're arriving by train, the station is right around the corner but the trains are quiet. Breakfast was excellent and prepared and served by Theresa, the owner. Theresa knows how to take care of guests. She answered any questions we had and made excellent recommendations for restaurants.

We were pleasantly surprised to find basic ingredients such as salt, oil, and others in the kitchen. Additionally, Dürnstein is within walking distance, offering a pleasant stroll through the vineyards. Free parking is available right in front of the accommodation. The owners were nice and friendly.

The location was amazing. The loft area was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a beverage. Laundry in the apartment was a welcome bonus. Very beautifully decorated with fascinating touches on the lighting!
