we did not know it was a "Singles" hotel but it was fine for my mother and us. People were friendly and staff was lovely and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and views were breathtaking. The forest and field/trail walks were lovely and hiking and swimming were our major pass times as well as visiting with friends. The indoor swimming pool was lovely and the outdoor pond a great plunging pond in September after a hot tub visit. Dinners were exceptional and breakfast is "healthy" with many choices. There is always a vegan/vegetarian option available.

The rooms are in a very nice modernised old building next to the owners' house. We had a very friendly welcome from one of the family members, who spoke perfect English. We liked the atmosphere of the place. It was clean, the kitchen and dining room was great, and everything worked.
The area is very nice. A large village/small town with an attractive square and a church about 50 m from the house. A bakery, a restaurant or two and various shops. There is beautiful countryside all around you.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
V V helpful staff - when we arrived V late, - no problem! When we had trouble finding the actual entrance, she happily talked us in. The apartment was spacious and all we could want. Breakfast was good, with added entertainment of the lady with her small dog - very interesting to chat with. (overnight) parking convenient; all in the town centre.
