The kindness of the all the staff and the owners. Breakfast was served on the terrace and it was presented like a work of art, they even painted a face on the soft boiled egg :-).

the views were amazing of the Danube river. quite location and great stopping location for our bike trip
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Very kind, friendly and welcoming hostess. There is no Wi-Fi (only on the shared balcony) and no TV in the room which I really liked for a change from every day life. Enough parking spaces in front of the house. Breakfast was fine, good enough to start your day. Clean and comfortable room. Great value for money.
Spacious, clean lots of parking spaces available. Very pretty area , a shop is very near and pubs and dining facilities available . Also, coffee / tea hot drinks are available with cold drinks, too
Very nice and superb equipped room. There is everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Parking is across the street and even there is a public EV Charger 50 m away. ATM is also very close.
Unfortunately, we stayed only during the night, and we had no chance to see the town at daylight. Anita, thank you for very nice stay.
The host was very nice, it was clean and cozy, free parking. In the bathroom, there were shower gel, shampoo, hair spray, and even toilet reducer ring for the little ones! Mini fridge was available with water, beer and wine, as well as coffee machine, electic kettle and bottle warmer. And you pay for it what you think is worth. The area is beautiful and you get great value for your money. The beds were very comfy and you have privacy.
Hotel in a quiet location close to the river. Although by the road, with minimal traffic. Free parking. Possibility to store bikes. Fridge in the room. Very spacious room. Friendly and approachable staff. Rich breakfast. As bikers, we welcomed the printed information materials at the reception. Danube ferry very close. Engelhartszell can be recommended as a starting point for bicycle tours and the Hotel Goldenes Schiff is a very good "base camp" for them.
